We develop

leaders

We are a Classical Christian High School who teach young adults to lead spiritual and cultural change in our communities.

Finding the best high school fit is challenging

Can’t find a school that shares your values

Doesn’t produce young adults driven to  better the community they live in

Doesn’t prepare young adults to make civil minded decisions

Schools which don’t offer flexibility in your childs education

Schools who require extracurricular activities, which put stress on family time

Schools which don’t nurture and develop responsible young people

Introducing Atonement Academy

Atonement Academy’s core purpose is to train and deploy loyal servants of Jesus, equipped to lead cultural change at all levels of society. Students will be empowered by our curriculum and school format in ways that will dramatically raise their expectations and build their confidence.

Emphasis on Civics

George Washington, the Father of our Country, had some great advice:

“A primary object should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing than communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the country?”

The next BIG THING in the life of a high schooler is voting, then college or career. Civics education, the “science of government” advocated by President Washington can be broken down into two parts: civic knowledge and civic skills.

Civic Knowledge

We build in civic knowledge across the curriculum, especially in history courses. We require economics and government.

Civic Skills

We bring people together in innovative ways to create solutions to our need for Christ-like love and depolarization.

Excellence Across Curriculum

Whether a young adult is headed directly to a career or to college, they need to be
well-rounded and grounded in the basic branches of knowledge. Scientific understanding and mathematics are just as important as a broad understanding of history and literature in developing the human person to achieve excellence in their vocation and field of choice.

Four Streams of Educational Innovation

We draw from the best aspects of four distinct streams of reform in education:

Classical Education

Hybrid Model

Two Day in person Option

Our two-day cohort consists of two days of in-person learning at the Church of the Atonement. This is best for a student who wants to experience a new learning environment with approximately 15 other students.
